Have done a complete search for Microsoft.Net etc.etc& thru a search I've found the folder,but trying to open it ,it says its empty& I'm not sure how to progress...can you give me a clue?

Didn't fix it for me, even did a complete uninstall/reinstall of the .net framework.

Too bad, guess i'll continue to take off at 5FPS

There were 2 parts to the fix , control panel , then programs an features , scrool down double click on net frame 4 repair it ( do it till it asks for restart ) then go to the redist an into the direct x folder an scrool down to you see DXSETUP AN RERUN IT . Also i had a real bad slow down an had to redo net frame again after about a week ! starting to wonder if ctd is taking little parts of our net frame work out , Wish a smart guy would know if this is possible?

It made it worse for me...
I'm beginning to think it might be because of a fairly old cpu.

Q9550 (if I remember right)
AMD7950 flashed into a 7970
6 GB RAM
2 SSD
