All good things come to those who wait!

All those things you listed will either be introduced by the Developers in the current series of IL2 or if not another software house will come along eventually and give you all of it. Its just a mater of time.

And while we wait COD as it is has some highly immersive game play. Better than any other WWII Combat Flight Sim on the market. What other WWII Combat Flight sims with the scope of COD are currently in development or even being talked about? Not many!

So We can enjoy the biots we like or we can bitch an moan. Or as some people have chosen to do both!

But if you are doing both, how about talking about the good bits as well?

Didn't know the market for trees in video games was so demanding...they should have put "WE HAVE TREES!!" on the front of the box, bigger than the title text.

The damage models , cockpit/aircraft models are light years ahead of IL-2 1946
The landscape in COD certainly looks more appealing than the " green felt" used in 1946.Both of these should have been minimium requirements for any flight sim post 1946, would you not agree ?
The reason no other WW II flight sim titles are on the horizon is they are not a profitable venture. This makes it very unlikely another " software " house will pick up COD and finish it.
I quit flying IL-2 years ago along with the other folks I flew with.

Right under "NO CRASH TO DESK TOP as an added bonus NO FRAMERATE LOSS DURING MULTI AIRCRAFT SEQUENCE /SMOKE/ PARTICLES" to increase your immersion factor.

Don't you think respect is a two way street? You have to give it to get it. We all know the devs had to release the product early and didn't inform their customers of what was missing....bad start. Their communications have been vague at best ever since. I think somehow we would survive if COD didn't pan out. On the other hand, they need our respect because they need us to be happy customers that spend more money on their next products.

Without our cash, they will be out of work with "programmer for COD" on their resume' in a tough job market. Technically they need us more than the reverse IMO.

This community for shure hasn't earned any respect in view of the very outspoken comments here regarding MG or 1c.

It seems the misconception, that harsh words will gain goodwill, is still far spread.

So true, but wait for the usual suspects to jump on it and try to belittle you.

isn't this the the glaring and obvious reason why there is no reason to doubt they are doing all they can to get this fixed? but none of this makes any obligation to pamper the more 'entitled' egos here with grovelling and humble appologies from the devs.

More likely by the publisher, and maybe team members that no longer work there, so again, tell me how bashing this new team gets you anywhere?
