No worries!

Because your statment is independent of CoD online or offline (recall your statment was wrt RoF CTDs)

That is to say all I plan on using out of your quote it the acknolagement that the PC config can be the root cause of CTD issues.

Something most of the CoD CTD whinners will not even acknolage!

But what with you being one of thier own they will find it hard to ignore the fact that you acknolaged this simple truth!

Which is all 'we' have been saying since day one!

That being that there is a good chance that most of the CTD's that people are experancing have nothing to do with CoD and everything to do with thier PC confing.

Which fits/explains the symptom that some get them all the time and others only experance them once in a great while.. i.e. same game software (CoD) differnt PC (OS, hardware, software, drivers, etc)

SAVVY?

Don't get too derpessed furbs!

In that this would not be the first time in CoD history that we did not get a Friday update!

Thus I would not jump to any conclusions that one missed friday update means 1C is saying feck all to the CoD users

Yes I understand. I have however seen even devoted COD fans mention CTD's in online play. ATAG guys as well. The Launcher crash and other net code issues have been mentioned by many...devoted and not. Again, I don't fly online so I haven't experienced this. So you think all of those folks (Including ATAG) that have complained about online CTD's just don't have their rig set up right?

And your in good company!

In that most do understand this simple truth..

There is only a handful to devoted whiners that don't and blaim it all on CoD.

To be honest, I don't belive they even belive that!

In that it is such a simple truth (read DUH)

But it fits thier adgenda so they choose to ignore this simple truth!

I allready have..

In that I never said CoD is not the source of some of the CTDs..

I would be silly to say that in that even 1C admits there are CoD CTD issues..

Which is why 1C is asking for the crash logs.. In the hopes they can accont for those non standard PC configs..

My point is simple..

We are all using the same game software..

Yet some are experancing CTDs more often than others..

Since the software is the same, that leaves the differences in the PC and PC configurations..

Something both you and I agree on.

So yes some CTDs are CoD related, and some CTDs are PC config related..

I don't know if I would go as far as to say that those who experance them more than others have thier PCs configured 'WRONG' as much as thier is something 'DIFFERENT' about thier PC configs

Great point here. I've talked to many players that have their settings not suitable for their PC, not tried different full screen options, probably running a ridic amount of stuff in the background. I think it's safe to say a LOT of crashes and problems are thd result of user error. Some software is susceptible to that more than others.
