That's not great when looking at your PC spec.

Yep, i've seen it for the first time many patches back, but it's easy to miss because only one in so many rounds ricochets. First time i saw it i had just crash landed in a 110 and i was shooting the nose MGs into the field in front of me. Well, in a 1000 rounds, you're bound to get some ricochets.

I used Bomber Intercept Low Level as test mission. When I'm far away from clouds my FPS is about 90. When approaching a cloud frame rate gets lower and in the middle it's 30 something. And this happens every time. Outside cloud FPS is good, but inside it can be about 35%.

S!

Patch works OK. FPS did rise a bit on tracks. Also noted that tracers ricochet off the ground Neat feature and they are also a bit easier to see now. Need more testing, but nothing major yet.

more response on flight controls
ai don't follow commands still exist

It's constant, just as it has been for so very long.

Trees are also odd now, I have distant trees and close trees but nothing between.

Tracer ricochets are just ridiculous too, I've no idea if it's at all realistic but it appears to be very hollywood to me.

Another huuuge step back for me this patch is.

Tree visibility is fubar.. visibility for them are approx 1000yrds. They pop up very close.. does not look good.

Clouds are still disabled for the most part.

Every time i close the game i get a launched crash. Much better than every time i open it though.

Had a quick fly in the Spit 2a, guns sounds and tracers are improved. And its general performance seemed to be higher, not 100% sure about that though.

For me I have only had a brief run out with the new patch.

Clouds are still pretty much a no go for me, getting a pretty constant vsync on 60 fps when away from cloud but drops to high 20's when in/near cloud. Gpu gets a workout as the fan spins up but goes off pretty much straight away when out of them.

No CTD yet, stutters are a lot less noticeable, some AI commands working (more to test), tracers looking great (new or just not noticed)

So for me so far the patch is making the game run better ..... Clouds still off a bit of a downer.

Update - Trees, as others are reporting the trees seem to be drawn in a very small circle around the plane, at low level looks awful as you can watch them being drawn as you go along metres in front of you.

Playable on my laptop is good enough for me.
