Saw a good documentary the other day. Apparently the display resolution of a cuttlefishs skin is about 300 dots per millimetre and they can reproduce texture. That should do for a start.

It strapping one of the buggers on your monitor and having him hold still while your flying that is the problem!

Its at 8000 meters, but its buged, they dissapear entire when you go at 7000 or something but they are beautiful to watch at sea level
