Furthermore, if you have not flown the sim over the past year, you ripped yourself off.
I do still fly it mate (230 hours logged), and also spend a lot of time doing RAF skins for other people as well as my own enjoyment,
however I am part of a squad and the great hope was that we could move on from 1946 (modded) to this for co-ops etc.
However as the Channel map (the main reason to buy a Battle of Britain simulation I would have thought) cannot be used
and the other 'arcade' kiddy fantacy maps are no good for a BoB Sim (in my opinion) we have all but dropped the idea of using it.

As for the 'first year is tough' bit, well, from its release 1C have been stringing us along with promise after promise that transformed into
basically saying that CLoD will be fixed when BoM is released.
Now I read this, possibly incorrectly, that we will need to buy BoM for a complete fix to CLoD, a game we have all spent money on to purchase.

Well, if you agree with that, quite a patience you have ... they finished the planned work (6 months) but they need assemble and then do the internal test? (when in the last update they said that they are almost ready to release the patch, but in an afternoon reunion decided to postpone a little bit)... then they do not finished the work, because the work includes the internal testing to see if all goes right.
They still kicking the ball forward, and fanboys buy the vapor

They have already released one alpha/beta patch that they worked a long time on, why would they walk away now? People need to put things in perspective, it's not like they are keeping oxygen from us.

WIP, but is it from a game engine or a render from a 3D program?

This 'fanboy' label is getting boring and is pure childishness, what possible sense could it make for a sofware company to just sit there doing 'nothing', what we are being told sounds plausible, I see no reason why a developer who is suffering badly from a bad release shouldnt be being very carefull over the release of the major fix, if they crumble to the pressure of 'whingeing' they might push it out prematurely again and it's back to square 1 and probably game over and everyone can clear out their desks, their children can starve but none of you would care because you had to spend £50 which most of us could piss on a wall in 1 night.

Laughable.

TY BS(not your fault)
Aw come on.. BS said "testing in the coming days.....difficult to give an exact release date....list of changes will also be published later."

That means it will all be sorted and done in 3 days. He couldn't be clearer. Have some faith.

Priceless Update.

I do not expect a developer to. I'm currently unhappy though.

Yes Cheese, it has been edited, originally it said basically that nothing would be posted and there were screenshots only of something not related to any patch
