Default New forcefeedback Joystick on the cards

I know its based on Mech's but I can see it would find a home in a simpit. Razors got a reasonable reputation but I can't remember them building joysticks before?

I don't think this is force feedback, but more like rumble feedback. Looking at the exposed spring, it resembles x-52's gimbal.

Razer makes some high quality stuf. I have a gaming mouse from them (deathadder) and It's so bloody precise. The best mouse I had so far.
I wish they made that stick more suitable for flight sims. They should have made a throttle instead of that keypad.

If the center screen was a touch screen a lot of people would get it.

The adjustable grip is a good idea though.

Their mouse performance is mostly great (some fails like Mamba), but Razer's design is too over the top for me - most of their products look like toys :-\ Too much bling.

Pardon my ignorance but if flight sims are a niche market, then how about mech games? Are they more popular? I can't think of one except one I played 20 years ago.

Or Mechwarrior Online

Razor actually have a reputation for poor quality and this put me off buying their new expensive headset I was considering, even the reviews of the headset confirm this.

To be fair I've not tried any Razor products first hand though so will need to give them the benefit of the doubt here, but in saying that ... that HOTAS (if you could call it a hotas?) looks extremely gimmicky ... for mech games maybe OK?

I own a few HOTAS products, Warthog, Cougar, X65F and an original Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 USB that I use for RoF, would advise anyone who wants a FF Joystick to go on the bay and buy a second hand one, the build quality is very good, its a very very robust bit of hardware and still works with Win 7 and presumably Win 8, they are always on the Bay and you could get one for the price of that Razor gimmick probably.
