i want the patch as much as the next person, just don't think asking this sort of question is going to make it appear any quicker. Its that simple.

I tend to agree Furbs. I've never driven my kids to a destination that takes 14 months so I cannot comment whether they would carry on with, "Are we there yet?"

I also agree Fruitbat. Had a similar argument with a subordinate of mine at work. My method is to ask nicely, trying to build a rapport. His is to annoy the beegeezers out of someone until they conform. His does work but burns the bridge. Mine takes longer but keeps the bridge open for next time. I don't think it's a maturity issue.

it's frustrating enough waiting, while some of us can do it patiently like adults, sharing the journey with screaming kids gets tiresome.

I don't know if you have kids Bongodriver but generally, if you are going to drive an extremely long distance you should take breaks and do something to appease the kids or they will carry on. Mind you, if I drive adults an extremely long distance I also have to expect that they won't stay quiet and patient if I don't take breaks and do something to other than continuous driving.

let's dish out lollipops to the whiners?

Beisdes, I equate this journey to a longhaul flight, theres no pulling up in a layby, just a monotonous continuous journey with some brat kicking the back of your seat the whole way.

This isn't anything like that it's a simple question from someone who knows nothing about programming. Jezz if nobody can ask a simple question without someone on here having a clever remark to make then big lol to you. Seriously, it's children you would expect to hear clever remarks from.

Oh yes it is!

They made us being addicted to this game, even when it was not properly finished when it first came out.

I can hardly imagine how it will be the day CoD will fully functional, again 4-6hrs daily in front of the monitor
