Of course. You would never deny these beliefs or their individual validity (could I perhaps borrow these words for a Sunday sermon? They have an evangelical zeal which goes straight to the heart of the subject, and a sincerity which is hard to match. Almost divine, in fact.)

>>I don't believe in god but I'm not going to crash my local church and shout 'why am I forsaken?' and tell everyone they are just stupid 'god fanbois'.<<

Of course not, though perhaps you might consider it at a later date? It is best not to rule out a Plan B, since as even the best and most morally crusading of posters such as yourself sometimes do. It is hard repelling the invading hoards, and a back-up plan can come in very useful.

Either way, it is refreshing to see such a candid and honest post and poster, who is utterly free of malice or malicious intent in every regard. Please keep up the good work.

Whats even funnier is they, with thier new handles, really thing they are fooling people

It is. Just look in the technical/performance/gameplay sections and you'll find plenty of help and support.

As far as the game itself is concerned, patch or no patch, online play can be terrific. Ditto designing your own missions/campaigns in FMB.

Sure the Launcher crashes are there online, but all you do is clear the cache and jump back in.

We'd all like to see the patch released for a lot of reasons, but the idea that the game is useless without it is just plain wrong.

But one thing's for sure, you won't find help and support for your gaming needs by lurking in the Pilot's Lounge.

oh don't get me wrong, I like that a lot, it's strong and going, but it doesn't change the scenario that we're in. Sometimes I wonder if it would be worth closing the general thread page until things are sorted out.

As for the pilot's lounge, seeking help there is not the way to go, if people think of it as a solution they're fools.

I personally like the fact that there's still a lot that comes out and can be shared in the pilot's lounge.

Am I flying CoD at the moment? No. It's not performing well enough on my machine, and I still feel like the issues that will soon be addressed with the patch might take me back to it, but until then no, I've spent too much looking at that icon on the desktop wondering what was worse, not having the sim or having it and it doesnt work for you..

Most of them were actually spare accounts of banned members who stated thet they would not return. But they have returned like they always do. For a good whinge.

And hey, again I'm sorry if my opinion upsets someone, but if you aren't mature enough to take a critique and ask mods to ban negative comments and people who made them, then you'd better shut this place down and thinking about what the hell went wrong down the line fellas.
While the mods probably try to keep this place going, it is not hard enough. Always two-three spamming negative threads follow a dev update but nor they nor the users that created them get infractions. Some of the mods have an ignore list so they don`t see any of the spam posts. They are probably ignoring the user reports aswell.

No mod has an ignore list. The ignore list function is there for forum members to ignore posts from people they don't want to read.
Don't like someone, or don't want to read their posts, you have the option to put them on your ignore list, or, you can have a pointless, embarrassing multi page argument with them online for all to see, and probably get yourself on somebody elses ignore list.
Members can work towards turning the forum in to a nice place to hang out, and share their love of the game, or they can work against it, and drag the forum down with constant arguments. It takes two people to have an argument.

After exactly one such 'debate' - 15 pages in fact - I saw the light of the ignore list too. Inane remarks and quips are so much less offensive when you don't have to see them unless you choose to, even if that is ultimately a sign of lacking self control. But then we're only human, most of us are not immune to feigned ignorance and offensive remarks.
