Theres a reason for instrumenting a plane for test..
That being a pilots's 'perception' of what is going on can be very different from what is 'actually' going on.

So they found a 70 years old WWII plane in very good condition and then proceed to dismantle it like a car in a junkyard ... What is next ? pressing and melt it to make Red Bull cans ?

well it's sad but it would have happened soon or late. Weapons and ammo have to be removed anyway for safety reasons. Wonder what's gonna happen to it now.
