And you are aware that it will be a russian copy ? Because there is still some time before the game is out in english, as i imagine they would like to do some proper translations and proper voicework.

Great game btw, I was playing whole week-end, didn`t happen for many years with me. Most who played the game have the same experience and there`re still no negative reviews from players, around one thousand messages already after 3 days after release on one of the largest russian forums. Minor bugs, minor problems with pathfinding and camera and things like that and these`re all the problems the game has, overall no weak points. Though the gameplay has nothing really special or new, it`s still unique, extremely diverse and thought-out. Graphics and spells are beautiful, I`m playing for like 15 hours already i think(i`m level 9 only and almost finished the first large continent), but still watch the animation in battles and other things with interest. It can be extremely difficult for those who like it, I play on normal and it`s pretty tough, I can make mistakes, but not so many and there`re 2 higher levels of difficulty, items and monsters are random. The game is not linear, from the very start in all locations there`re monsters and quest you can do, you can`t for some time and you won`t do until you travel to other continents and become much stronger. I know you guys will get the english version in autumn only, but it`s worth waiting and you`ll get it very well polished since it`s fine and playable even now ![]() |

Wait, no voices? Okay, so that shortens it, and it is only...400 pages of translation. Okay, I can see why that would take a long time.
Still, will it really take six months to translate that much? I mean, I can translate about a page of latin in about half an hour (and I'm not all that good) so that's 200 hours, which is about 8 days of nonstop work, or 25 days worth of 8 hour days. By one person. I'm guessing you have proffessionals so that should cut it down to 20 days work, and with multiple people perhaps 10? And then editing jokes and things perhaps 10 days? So about 20 days in total, add a week for bug fixing, checking, fixing, etc, and you've got about 27 days, or one month. Will it really take another 4 or 5 months to print the game after that? I did buy the game, have to use a paypal account in a russian money exchange site (http://www.transmoney.ru/) , and transfer US dollars to russian rubbles on webmoney. Using webmoney I could buy it from online.1c.ru (altough they dont sell the game to Brazil, I had to change my country to russia

I suppose the russian online (non-DVD) version don't use Starforce. And there is a patch 1.2 for this version too. You can buy it after free registration for 350 rubbles (about 15 USD) through webmoney on this webpage: http://online.1c.ru/games/game/2585070/. Katabroc had posted above about this.
But be carefully with online or offline activation of the game. You have to translate explanation below of this webpage for understanding what have to do. |
