Default when you shoot a parachutist death he falls horizontal or vertical?

i want to check the game is correctly modelled cause in the old il2 a chutist would be falling horizontally and when he died he fell vertically

does il2 clod keep this mistake since my experiments point to a sheet of paper falling horizontally in the air

He would fall slightly jackknifed with his back to the earth and arms and legs trailing in the relative wind.

Shooting a parachutist? Some people have no honour.... no honour at all..... lol What's the next experiment? Blast radius when dropping bombs on hospitals?
