Demo!!!

A demo after a game is released? That doesn't make much sense to me.

Why not ? A demo is intended as a demonstration, a tase of things to come, and can serve that purpose both before and after release, doing it before release just gives a higher chance of more people buying it at day 1. In any case, i am pretty sure i will wait for a demo before i buy the game.. i always try to do that unless there is exceptional reason as to buy without trying a demo.
