I'll try again, exactly what was promised?
Not what was wished for?

Cheers

Wow thanks for pointing out the new Tank sim Blaze of War being available, I was following the development on the russian forums and stopped checking.
I had no idea it was out.

I suggest if you like other sims like Silent Hunter, you check out this new Tank one from Graviteam, it may pass the time till Clod Beta releases a patch to fix what we bought.

I look forward in the near future for a fixed Clod. Keep at it.

Usually,I don't like to post in threads like this one, because they are pointless.
But when potential newcomers read this they may conclude that Clod is crap.

I must say that I fly online and enjoying it from April without any bigger problems.
First it was annoying sound bug wich happened here and there,
then with last patch I got constant CTDs.But I was on 32-bit system.
Installed 64bit OS, reinstalled CloD, CTD problem still exist but it is rare.
I have fast PC ,but i don't have high end GPU (gtx560) and flyin with almoust
everything maxed out(trees on low).
I would suggest to those of you who have big problems with CTDs to try to do same thing, it was suggested earlier, there was even topic about that.
With respect to those that have problems,I don't belive that someone is lucky, and the other with respectable hardware isn't.

Also another thing, I hope that everyone here understands that there is
very slim chance that any other developer will produce WW2 plane simulator.
Market is too small, and effort needed is huge.
Do you think that MG doesn't know how to make some arcade,
that will in start have much bigger market?

I'm shure that developers will deliver the patch soon,at least that is in their
best interest,much more then ours.
Promised performance boost will allow a lot more pilots to fly CloD,
and open a way to some online campaigns like SEOW and AW ...

All I can say vranac is count yourself as one of the blessed ones. All of my other 11 squadron members have left CloD (for the forseeable future) because of CTD's (I do hope CTD is Crash To Desktop). Most have high end rigs and 64Bit OS's. They report no CTD's in any other gaming genre's. I myself have a modest spec PC (Got to wait for Santa for a more powerful PC) that has no problem running both Aircraft and Tank based Sims. In Unigine Heaven Benchmark, DirectX 11 will run for hours with no BSOD's and still give high 50's fps. I am prepared to accept that I wont be able to see meadow grass or dense forests to keep decent fps's and mid settings graphics. As I stand at the moment, I can land a Tiggi Moth" on the Mall and not drop below 30fps, but on-line combat, 15-20 mins tops in non historical servers before CTD.. So for me as the song says "Things can only get better"

LOL

The whole CTD thing is weird, I dont ever get them aside from occasionally when I load a replay track, but thats less of a CTD and more of a game freeze... I have Win 7 64bit, and a very modest system... I play online (the only bad thing about it is my combat skills).

I did tweak alot, followed alot of the guides and such. Dont know whaat the difference might be.

Me too but in all fairness it should say on the DVD case "Multiplayer with up to 128 players at a time, up to 1 hour at a time"
