shows how important it it to choose the right PSU(s) I'm running 1200 / 860 combo.
Yeah I think the CPU OC helps though on a couple of the tests!
I have 2 x 1500W now after having problems with a couple of different combos of 2x1200W PSUs I had around. Really stable now though!

Last synthetic bench for today!

It beat my old 990X score by 5000pts!

What are your Black Death track benchmark figures with SSAO on and off, vsynk on and off, AA 4x for example?

Some results of single card benchmarks http://translate.google.com/translat...hp%3Ft%3D68723

I did some quick tests but have run into some major technical issues with some hardware voltage modding of the GPUs. Should be back on track in about a weeks time when some replacement SMD resistors arrive. Long story but I followed a guide from a reputed LN2 overclocking "Guru" for voltage modding my cards and he had labelled the WRONG resistors to be removed so I am now running on a backup 8800 Ultra until i make the repairs.

The 8800 Ultra runs Blackdeath with everything on medium defaults at 25>35FPS quite smoothly.

The 1 run i did with a single GTX580 was avg 50FPS min 6FPS and Max 106FPS.

I'm having some major issues with this board. Finally diagnosed it as having to do with Eyefinity over displayport connections.

I have 4 new 3GB GTX580s on their way to me so later this week I'll be able to do some new single, SLI, Tri-SLI and 4way SLI benching on single screen and surround @ 6040x1080. I cant wait to see what these 3GB cards can do in multi-screen!

4x New 3GB GTX580 Cards and the MB block arrived today!

I picked up a few more bits n pieces today to make the next attempt at hotwiring the cards less hassle and help me to repair the old cards.

A finer tip 0.3mm tipped iron for precision soldering.
2pin connectors to mount to the PCB so I dont have to have wire hanging off the cards and risk pulling pads/resistors off! I'll just plug the wires in after the cards are installed!
Ribbon cable for the PCB wiring to the 2pin connectors.
Chipquik SMD kit to lower the melting point and make it easier to safely remove the CORRECT resistor now I have the right instructions.
Flux Gel.
Fine tip needle hooks and tweezers to help with precisely holding the wire/components in place.
pics to follow

Here's the stuff that arrived and the pics of the finished card. I still have to re-mount water blocks and do the other cards.

The solder job

The 2pin socket mounted

The cable connected

Installed for testing

The 1st card vcore (VGA1) registering in software @ 0.978v (default 2d volts with VGA tweak disabled)

Mission Accomplished!
CPU 5Ghz @ 1.55v max temp 78c
GPUs 1000/2200 @ 1.32v max temp 55c
Peak power draw PSU1 1300W PSU2 850W (at wall)

Not sure if I can really go any further than this and I've achieved the holy grail of 1000 on the GPUs!

Ill do some CoD benching now!!!
