I'm not a Battle Of Britain guy...Never was. F4s in the Mediterranean would be my favorite, North Africa etc. Russia will have to do. The snow will be cool if we get it. At least I'll be able to see something.

I know. In Helmut Lipfert's book he is telling of flying along over a flat totally white landscape with only a rail line for reference. If the tracks weren't there it would have been like flying over a pale of milk. I get my clear circular compass out and press it to the monitor if I have to fly a long distance over something like that. Then just make a note of the heading and keep that course.

Hi BlackSix, a question for luthier for next time:

Will the new graphics engine have improved SLI/Crossfire performance? SLI currently gives minimal frames per second increase for many players and can introduce stutters.

There are in-game angle and distance tools for the map now, Not to mention the instruments in your aircraft.

Heck if you've got lots of printer ink just print the maps out that you fly and you can use it on the desk rather than on the screen. I mark the heading while I'm at base that way you can get it exact.

But seriously folks, I scoured the house for a protractor only the other day, but found I didn't possess one. Need to get one of those kiddie geometry sets methinks!

Interested in what Verhangis says though.

What in game map aids and where are they??
