Hi Hicks, Great pic. Where did you find it?
To answer your question its not a USAAF Hurricane, its infact a Royal Navy Hurricane, i believe from 800 squadron. They took part in the British/American lead invasion of French North Africa, known as operation torch ![]() British and American planes were given the same markings to avoid any friendly fire incidents.
