Hmmm... Jimbob, why do I have the bad feeling that this was me ????
Did you see the name of the player bailing?

Damn, I should have checked better, I saw the big piece falling off your wing and the flat spin and thought your wing had broken off

You were a lucky bugger, my gunsight (and everything else in the cockpit) had been shot to pieces.

Probably was! You were definitely online at the time but I didn't notice the name of the player, too worried about my fuel.

Btw, how do you send a chat without exiting to the server page?

Lovely write-up jimbop. Yes, I too enjoy online tremendously, as you can see in my latest vids...

I've watched them all and enjoy them tremendously. To be honest they are what finally made me get into online. I find them difficult to watch though - I'm always thinking, "check your six, dammit!"

My way:

You create an extra window, at the top of your screen. Just one line and long as long as your whole screen.
Item inside this window: "Chat input"
Active Alpha BG = 50
Inactive Alpha BG = 50
You only see the chat: a little bit toned down while you play.

If you want to write something, you move the mouse on that area, keep ALT and mouse click.

You write what you want and press ENTER.

PS. Damn I should have smiled hanging on that parachute I will keep the screenshot, thanks

That was a good read --- with pictures, no less! Bonus! LOL

Glad you enjoyed your experience on the ATAG server. And yes, be sure to install Teamspeak 3; it really enhances the whole feeling of "being there"!

Nice read. I hope this post could bring more pilots to online mode.

Regards.
