RO2 was bought by at least 12 pilots of my squad (we played a lot with RO1 and DH mod): most of them preordered it to play the beta.

After one month most of us left the game.

In these day we are playing I44 for Arma2. And we enjoy it a lot!

It will be interesting to compare the results with luthiers post of three weeks ago, saying he expected a 50% or greater increase in performance from the new engine.

The mod it's free but you need to have Arma2: Combined Operation (Arma2 + Arma2: Operation Arrowhead). You find it on Steam at 25€ but some weeks ago it was sold at 12€. Probably there will be an offer for Xmas.

The online aspect is different from RO2 since you can't start the game and enter a public server as for RO2, but you must play in scheduled coops or PvP with other people of the community to be enjoyable.

So it's like IL2 1946 in these days: no much people online on public servers, much more playing private coops and online wars.

Add the ACRE mod and you have a winning combination.

Well the backtrack has already happened in the latest update saying "we have no idea what improvement on the fps is going to be"
So how can that be when he though very different before.
