Yes, for me. Dunno how it will perform on your PC. We all have different cards. My card is MSI GTX470 TwinFrozr2....newer drivers are (usuallly) better optimised for newer cards...lets say GTX5xx series..

I removed the latest official nvidia drivers.
I did not find any improvement in game performance. Actually, I was getting graphics glitches (looked like white lines coming from the bottom and top of a/c), I did notice a small drop in FPS (2-4 fps) from the beta 285.38 but no difference in over all smoothness. Also, upon restarting my pc this morning, I found I could not connect to any of my favorite web pages through Firefox. Not sure if its related but it started only after I restarted this morning with no other program installed other than nvidia drivers. Removed the drivers and everything is back to normal. Reinstalling the beta 285.38 and will check the game for those graphics anomalies. Whiskey |

285.xx are dangerous for their tendency to timeout - this can result in crashes and lockups of games or other applications (i.e. Firefox with GPU acceleration on). 285.62 changelog mentions that timeouts are fixed - we will see, if that is true.
By the way, 285.62 fixes hardware video decoding also, which was broken in latest beta. |

I must say I am liking these new drivers.. Only tried them for an hour or so last night but they seem pretty good.
But, at the same time I made a few changes to the NVIDIA settings for the Launcher.exe. So the improvments I am seeing could be due to those changes. I would have to revert back to the old drivers to prove that to myself, but, really not that interested. I was going to do a quick FRAPS test last night, but, for some reason FRAPS was not working like it should.. Than it got late and I hit the hey, think Ill try it again tonight Oh one other thing, the Launcher.exe now shows up in the NVIDIA panel with the CoD logo, which helps alot.

Well I installed it this evening and I appeared to get higher frame rates but a bit more stuttering, so plus and minus! I thought the image quality looked a lot better than their last beta 285.38. Maybe once the graphics engine is totally sorted for COD we will get an optimised profile for it, I guess until then its not worth Nvidia's efforts with graphic engine changes in the offing again.
