I'd love to join later as well .. after I get a handle on single player , campaigns and stop getting shot down by AI planes ..

BTW, where do you get Server 1.04? I seem to have 1.02

Good, once I run in windows mode. I still need a proper monitor but the system isn't the problem, it's the user that needs practice and learning how to ClOD

Just thought I'd chime in here and drop a link to our humble Squadron's webpage: No. 457 Squadron vRAAF

We fly allied aircraft, preferably single-engine Commonwealth types. The squadron was formed in the year 2000 and we have flown sims such as European Air War, IL-2 Sturmovik, IL-2 Sturmovik: Forgotten Battles, IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946 and we are currently transitioning to IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover.

We have participated in large-scale online campaigns/wars across the IL-2 series and EAW - and this remains the squad focus for training. We aren't your average gung-ho squadron that focuses on the thrill of the kill (although it certainly is a plus!), instead we focus on flying & navigating the aircraft and staying alive in combat.

Our numbers have dwindled over the years due a number of reasons. Currently there are 3 active pilots (including myself) and 5 reserve pilots. At the moment we are looking for intermediate/experienced pilots that would be able to help foster new recruits and serve as a backbone of experienced pilots to the squadron. If you are interested, please register on our forums and drop a post in "The Bar"
