Its interesting that people complain about SOW's five year developement time and can't see all the IL-2 projects that were sold and resold during this same time period. I would have liked to have seen BOB ages ago, but realise it probably made BOB a better product. The delays have given aircraft and terrain builders time for more flyables and landmarks. Computer improvements that will allow all of SOW's advanced features to be put together with playable frame rates. The developer making periodic statements saying things are steadly advancing. Its all good.

You can take the Vaporista's with a grain of salt.

I dont complain about any of it.... AFAIC BoB can take another year.... as if i'd be flying some other sim... FB is the bee's knees for me... I have no doubt that BoB is coming.. when is anyone's guess... but it will be here and when it gets here it will be revolutionary... in the meantime....

I think the point raised is not that SOW BoB is cancelled but whether Ubisoft are still going to distribute the game. I am certain 1c will not pull the plug especially since they launched their new game download section...
My guess is SOW BoB will go the way of Theatre of War and become an elicence download project.
But what do I know
