First let Steam check your files, second delete the cache file, then install the Patch.

It seems to me that the AI radio comms are hardly audible now, I don't know if someone else is having this issue too.

For me the rest works fine.

Of the people that have had lock ups after a ground explosion, who has nvidia graphics card with the latest beta 285.38 (the one required for Battlefield 3)?

it's not a patch, it's a beta patch... this is all the difference.

Shall i tell you guys from 1C what it looks like for me as a customer?
That youre not working but surfing the web all day and waste your time.
Shall i tell you something? I am really sorry but i as a customer am loosing interest in this game and am close to shelve it and play something else until maybe in some months something actually really happened.

I am no big fan of the FMs in Rise of flight but you folks should take an example from the ROF guys when it goes about speed of development and pace of patches. Thos guys are WAY faster than you folks and as far as i know are even the FAR smaller team.

BIG DISSAPOINTMENT!

Another confirm for the freezes on crashing. Doesn't happen when you go down in water though (even with a huge splash), so it's only actual explosions. Otherwise it's nice to have the .303's balanced so you can hear them again and the colours look great on the ground at least, but I'm not sure about the in-cockpit colours. They seem very saturated (I'm talking mainly about the 109 cockpit here, so it could be to do with the bright red lights) and I can't quite tell whether they're really really good or really bad.

On the up side though, load times are massively decreased.

I also get the explosion crash.

While flying a single mission I noticed there is still this map bug (large lighter area at sea level) which was there already in previous beta patch.

I noticed there was another similar light area in different part of the same map, but a bit smaller. I can't remember if it was in previous patch or is this a new problem.

WinXP SP3, 2Gb ram, ATI 9550 2GB - driver version 8.861.0.0 (24.5.2011).

Firsto of all i want to say 'Thank You' to DEVs for the work they are doing.

Now some feedback for this patch:

LANDSCAPE: Now colors are awesome eye-candy, sometimes having some "strange" textures colors on water

COCKPITS: A bit 'strange' colours at the beginning but after a while they look good

BF109 E4/E4B: Can't manage to open/close water and oil radiators

JU88: Engines are still under powered. with a standard fuel and weapons load you can't go higher than 3000 / 3500 meters (in real life it was able of a cruise altitude between 6000 and 7000 with full load and 7500+ without weapons and half fuel tanks)

ALL AIRCRAFTS: No damages caused by speed exceeding (ex. Ju88 from 7000mt. start dive 90° nose down at 900+ Km/h you loose control until you slow down, may damage engines but no structural damages.)

PERFORMANCES: Got a nice improvement (more 10 / 15 FPS, now can't go lower than 30FPS) and stuttering is almoust gone (still some micro-stutter where going from high to low altitude at high speed ON LAND, not sea)

My system specs are in the signature and my team-mates from my virtual wing also have similar specs.
No notable difference between AMD/ATI and INTEL/NVIDIA systems for us.
