hey pupo!what you see in the vid,are not my settings when i play the game.i just set everything on max after i recorded the mission, to convert the track into an avi file and have all eyecandy.

i dont know whats the best setting for your rig....i found that many people reported big improvements due certain settings, which had no effect at all for me, or even made it worse.

with what resolution do you play??

2560 x1024.

its so frustrating testing COD video settings, speacilly since you want to start middair and due to stutter engine gets killed without yo ueven beeing able to do something.

ill give up again an wait for another patch, tough this beta was already a huge improvment.

well you play with a way higher res than me.
i know most people hate to lower the res, but for me i gained 15fps average through it. although it looks pretty blurry, i dont really mind.what i want, is to maintain a overall convincing look of the game.thats why i would never consider to turn trees for example off.
the only real problem are the shadows for me.the game just looks soooo more liflike with them enabled.but those damn shadows really hit my fps.

same. no shadows, the game looses its 3d look. even the pits look like 1946.

I'm such an idiot...Next time I'll load these movies up in much better quality. I see now in windows movie maker there's that option.

May I suggest turning Land Shading down from High to Medium. You won't notice the difference in quality but gain perhaps 5 frames.

Land Detail will affect how far the game will "paint" terrain. If set to Low distance terrain will be flat and smeared out.

I'm playing at 2560x1440 and I can confirm that the res is taking a big bite out of my frames. If I lower to 1920x1080 I get like 10-15 more frames but like David says, the game gets all blury.
Hopefully the official patch will give us back the 10% the beta took plus perhaps give us a couple of more on top of that. That would make my game run at +35 avg. If that happens I'll be flying more than hanging here.

Maybe I'll give that shading a try. I sure don't need it until I'm down in the weeds as they say but if you don't notice it and it helps why not

Well, been messing around with video tools, and made my first video (well, in fact is just much more a Bf 109 E4 tribute than other thing )
It is not very good, but someday I will be able to make a better one
Enjoy it, and remember: any tip to improve my skills is welcome
