I have experienced a similar thing with zip files, and it could be to do with Vista / Win7 / Ie7 file blocking:

7zip also worked for me, presumably because it is not preserving the zone information with the file.

I hope somone will torrent the file, because for some reason, if i download using ie or firefox they keep stoping, and im not sure why, but torrents i can download
