The only line addressed at admins there is

Its still beta with a more detailed read me in progress

Please use the Hyperlobby forum to avoid confusion here and for a faster response.

At the moment CoD clients can join HL Dedicated server to test the HL function.

Users can host missions with the usual familiar room slots and create the server via the CoD gui under multiplayer> server> coop (not channel map) or> dogfight.

Port 27016 need to be open for hosts.

Yes. Normal for HL. Happened to all / most of us. At least it did to me for sure.

I think there must be at least a manual or readme or FAQ for original Il-2 on how to "automate dedicated server registration via HyperLobby" somewhere.

If anyone finds it by chance please let me know. I will pass this info to Repka admin.
