But the Ubi logo is actually only 8,28 MB and i downloaded something between 20 and 30 MB so there has to be something else.

@1st pagers: Could we please stop derailing the thread for discussions about some weird shooter game beta?

For me it was some 30mb patch. This is because I am an ATI user and had suffered from a GPU in idle mode while playing due to the Ubisoft into video bug. As the solution is to delete the logo video the patch now also re-downloaded that video now. Hence the difference in size to all those other patches.

However, testing revealed that the Ubisoft logo bug is not corrected although the logo file was restored.

So if you're using ATi graphics cards the solution still is:
Browse to "Steam\steamapps\common\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\parts\core\GUI" and rename the "Logo.wmv", move or delete it.

This won't get you banned while playing online.

Further I'm also interested what was changed by the patch. Did anyone stumble about obvious changes? Haven't seen any so far.

Other than the ubi logo coming back I just had a few runs and can't see any obvious difference online or off, other than ffb seems to take longer to kick in!

I disabled the logo again though.

Very strange.

Maybe VAC-related?
As the SDK is announced.

Perhaps it is related to the announcement of Hyperlobby support?

Default 3 Files updated

These are the updated files:
parts\core\files.sfs
parts\bob\files.sfs
launchergdf.dll

Now the question is, what changed?
