Hey Strike,

Thanks for your holiday wishes!

Well, I could go on and on about how I strive for authenticity and believe in the "dogme" principle of movie making (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dogme_95) and yadda yadda yadda, but the actual truth is that I wouldn't know how to do all that clever editing even if I tried!

I'm glad you like the rough 'n ready look of my movies, and you're right: they certainly show exactly how it is to fly a mission. That's why I always want to have the take-off and landing in my vids (when I actually get so far as to land properly!)

Technical commentary: These videos are captured while I play the missions and directly uploaded to youtube, no editing whatsoever (it shows!). After that I add the annotations in youtube...

Cheers!

I know and I put a link in that thread... - But I prefer having my own thread as well.

Maybe we don't all look in there first .Give this a week and then add it in there but the video forum is full of non video posts so sorting through to see any new video is not always easy.
Thanks for posting "ingame" footage,i will see what the new patch is like then make a decision on buying but your videos are a good selling point.

TrackIR, which works super-well in CoD. I couldn't go back to flying any sim without it.

I just use a run-of-the-mill profile with a little bit of deadzone (I think). But I try to keep a bit more smooth than I otherwise would when I do a video. Don't want to cause epileptical attacks in people...

Ah, you're the first to notice my zooming in this movie! - Yup, that is indeed new.

I set-up the arrow up and arrow down keys - zooming in and zooming out - and they work when I hold down a button on my joystick. Works more or less ok, but not half as good as in Il-2 Classic and RoF, where I could just set a joystick button to zoom out and another to zoom in.
