Thanks to all of you, but now I have another problem that must be solved first. I installed 1946 from the disk as v. 4.07m. I then installed update 4.08m with no problems. After posting this thread I installed 4.10m, and now only the opening screen comes up for a second, after which the game quits.
I run W7 64-bit, the game is installed directly on C drive, and compatibility is set at XP SP2 (other settings make no difference). Is there a 4.09 update that I am missing? CPU I7-960 OC @ 3.84Ghz, Asetek Water Cooler Asus P6T X58 MB, 6Gb RAM Corsair Dominator DDR3 1600Mhz EVGA nVidia GTX 275, 1.792Gb DDR3 RAM 1 Tb SATA II HD, Kingston 128Gb SSD (FSX only) Apevia 800W PS, Win 7 64-bit
