Boring stuttering with my 2xgtx470s sli.
With 2Gb the game should run at 1920x1080 with everything on...
"sli compatibility" was written on specs...and so I preordered the game...

SLI is definitely working now. There are finally no flickering rivers, textures, shadows etc. and a huge performance increase.

I'm sure someone that knows about nvidia inspector could actually set up a correct profile to get even more performance, but I simply turned it on globally (so it's always on) and the results are astonishing.

This is me running the black death track at all GFX settings on MAX including SSAO. I averaged around 50 FPS. Pretty good for a benchmark track. A couple setting adjustments and I can get 80-100 FPS online at all times now.

I captured the last screen shot right before the black death track ended to show the results I got throughout.

Bliss, nothing you adjust in Nvidia CP changes anything in COD.

Not saying your Sli doesnt work though, just saying the other stuff doesnt.

It certainly does for me, made a profile for "Launcher" and whatever I change in the cp has the desired effect in game/in flight.

What GFX card and drivers are you using?

Ive tried every single option in the CP and with Nvidia inspector and its had no affect at all.

what are you changing and can you show me a before and after screenshot?

Can you show the affect with FSAA X2 and your change to anything else at all.

cheers.

I spent a day trying different SLI profiles with evga last week, nothing was perfect. I'm afraid only the developer can fix this, its frustrating.

Creating a profile for launcher.exe works for me (up to a point). Forcing AFR 1 & 2 defintely have an effect.. I can get 100% gpu utilisation on both cards, and a reported 60 fps but unfortunately the stuttering is so bad the actual fps looks more like 5.

What doesn't seem to work is the AA settings, I would be happy to be able to switch off in-game AA and use the other card for AA..

SLI GTX 460 1GB with 280.26 drivers.

what a drag...the answer is up there...
Develop a game or a cg animation is a very long and complex process, and a lot of things concur in a good result: kind of meshes and number of triangles, texture quality, physics, lights and environment complexity, scripts accuracy, hardware and software compatibility...and so on.
Then everything have to be optimized for a good flow and incredible realtime rendering fps in our always different computers: a real mess.
Compare a game isn't relevant but ideally a good way to determinate the accuracy of a complex cg work.
I think that we have to respect and pay developers' work as they have to respect and pay our well-founded criticism...
over and out

Either way you look at it, CloD is not the most amazing and complex game ever written. BTW, I used A-10 as well as an example (a fairer comparison) which is far more complex and far more realistic and far nicer graphics than CloD. CloD is not that amazing, that it should need the fastest computer money can buy to run it on full. It could be the best WW2 sim ever if it gets fixed. Everyone knows its unfinished and it should run better. The fact that people can run every other more technically challenging sims/games full out and not this one is a HUGE red flag. Sorry the truth is not pretty sometimes, but if it gets fixed, it might be very pretty.

Yes, you can get SLI to work, but any other option in the CP does nothing.
