That means the illusions of grandeur of the "negativity-group", meaning their thinking that they are speaking for a big percentage of people, are just that, illusions.

As the people which aren't following this thread are either waiting patiently or have already shelved the sim, we see here 10, possibly lost sales for follow up products.

I believe 1c and MG can live with that.

Mouth to mouth propaganda will more than make up for that when the sim is running as it should.
lol, the petition thread blows your stats to pieces, BOOM!

The Dev team has stood behind every game they have worked on. I have no doubt that the team will get this game playable for 99% of the people who want to play it. It may take a few months, but you can't expect fast results with a game this complex.

Get over it, the game was released early, in a beta state, patches are coming that with luck will rectify it... but you just need to get over the fact that you wasted 6 years beating yourselves off over weekly updates and be patient. Some pills are tough to swallow.

I bought Duke Nukem.. played it for 5 minutes.. laughed at myself for being so dumb. That was it.. i'm not spamming their forums with tosh.
I couldn't put this any better, but wasn't Duke Nukem Forever the biggest load 'o' crud to have ever graced the market, I did exactly the same, 5 minutes and a few of the cheesiest lines of innuendo and it got unninstalled.

The petition thread only offered one choice therefore results are skewed in your favor. A poll most probably would have yielded a different result.

According to you, what is the topic of this thread, if not the communication? The details of the development update?

Be kind with Luthier. Remember Matthew "Manic Miner" Smith's words:

"it’s common conception that managing games development teams is a very difficult job, whereas it’s probably fairer to say that it’s a totally impossible job and that nobody should be foolish enough to attempt it".

Cheers,
Insuber
