Whoever found this.. THANK YOU! works a charm!
Just tested it.. sound was perfect, no stuttering, no blips.. excellent, the game is back on! ![]() You can't even tell trees are turned off above 1000ft anyway. Baffling that the tress cause or solve this issue. THIS FIX SHOULD BE A STICKY!!! |

Trees off and you can have sounds in MP, i must say this is a weird game.

because, their trees are made using the speedtree library. a poor implementation might have left some tree sound triggers into the models / code, therefore overhelming the sound system with (empty) tree object sound calls.. Last edited by adonys; 07-20-2011 at 03:45 PM. |

But this soundproblem comes into play with last patch, there is hope we get better performance with new sounds because there is something really weird in sounds now.

Bored to reset, I removed all the trees and the sound is perfect now for me it works

Ive also found that sometimes sound will still cut off in 3rd person view.. But by zooming in the camra closer to the plane the sounds will come back.
