Did you flash the firmware update from December 2010? This does resolve the issue on elevator and aileron - for throttle, pedals, trims, etc. you've to mod it (see here and here)

Thanks Art. Yep, I updated the firmware the day it arrived. It's not so much the reversal bug as the big sloppy zone, even with centring spring enabled and the notchy feel of the stick when the FFB kicks in. It's so bad I'm not even sure if its faulty or not.
