Im using the AV8R-02 ans using the hat switch i can only looks around me but not behind.

But using the great big stick thing at the bottom of the joystick (between the LSB and RSB buttons) i can look left, right, above, below and more importantly behind. In external view also.

I dont find it to much of an issue.

The issue i DO have with zoom though sometimes....

If im killed whilst zooming in, when i respawn im automatically zoomed in without me having to press anything to enable it. Can be a little disoriantating sometimes.

I do use zoom a bit.i liken it to squinting your eyes to see a distant object more clearly .i know your eyes arent zooming.but i'll bet pilots do alot of squinting.

Foz I think he ment that he can only look in those exact directions because the hat is digital on that stick not analog. So thats like us having to use the d-pad to look around the cockpit. I play 1946 like that (although even that is 45 degree movements not 90) and its really anoying. Thats why most people get head tracking.

Thats weird. I don't think I have ever had that happen to me.

I think this stick sensitivity issue needs to be drooped.it doesn't matter how sensitive or how big your flight stick is.the option should be a available for all players to enhance or curb their sensitivity.as the old saying goes its not how big your flight stick is ,its how you use it
