Default bombs do not explode?

hey guys.today i wanted to drop some bombs for the first time with a bf1093b.but the bombs just drop down and touch on ground without exploding.dont know what i have set up wrong, but i tried pretty much all possible variations in the weapons loadout section.

I have never tried bombing so I can not say for sure. But I think there is a section for detonator arming timing.

reading forums, a lot of people seems to have proplem with that, me too btw .
you can find it even here http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=23405 or http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=23155
I suggest to wait till the next patch - when the arming screen should work and we can select the bombs AND the fuzes.
Than we can test again.

I think the detonators are not set-up right anyway, you have from 0 to 0.08 then upto 14 seconds on the low level (skip bombing) but they all seem to take ages to go off anyway as if they are all set to 14 secs? Would be good if we could have a proper manual for the game

S!

thx for the answer and the links!i assumed that i can find the answer here on the frorums, but now there are so many threads, that its a workload to search for the right answer, so i decided to start this thread.
i will behave as you suggest, and wait for the next patch.

Yeah I had the same problem, could not get bombs to explode or find any way of changing the fuses, is there a manual with this game or are we just having to guess?

On my installation it's in "C:\Games\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\manual" folder. Check your steam folder.

Page 79 for bomb arming instruction

The only bombs that go BOOM everytime for me are the SC500's on the bf110, the Stuka, the Blenny.
The 500 and 250 pounders in the Blenny go off when they hit the ground..put some holes in my fuel tanks thanks to that.

No problems!

But the next question is did the instructions work? I haven't flown with bombs yet!

Cheers!
