I think it looks like when waking up with goo in your eyes, and discovering you have a condition opposite of colour-blindness. Then you go to the curtains and and open them only to reveal a full on midday, blinding, migrene-inducing sun that makes you wish you never woke up in the first place.

PS: And btw. Its coming for XBox. So that cant be a real simulator.
Does that mean that ONLY 1C can do better with time ? These are actual screens from a game that will be optimized for another 6 months...
I still have to see COD in par with those screens: better clouds, transparent water, better tracers, very high terrain details, etc...I know ( hope ) COD will get there eventually, but by that time, will COD look obselete ?
Would you say that COD today is looking like 2011 ?

Salute !

I was wondering the same thing. Aircraft models look a lot like the old Il2. Just a lot more pyro and stuff going on. Not bad, would get it if I had a console game system. Just for the heck of playing it on a 70 inch LED.

If its made for the PS3 and XBOX and then ported to pc, dont count on it being any good

I was under the impression that WOP used its own engine but used the flight models or something from il2.

Your right WOP never used the IL-2 game engine, but they did borrow aspects of IL-2's flight model and modified it. Gaijin used their own game and graphics engine.

I think for a console game the terrain detail is very impressive, I guess the PC version will have a lot more eye candy.
