I've bought mission packs for IL-2 before, and some were very much worth it.
I'd quite happily pay a couple of bucks for a good campaign. I'd probably pay a couple more if was an "official" one from 1c, I'd have thought it a good side line for them. Steam's a perfect way to distribute DLC.
