Freetrack FYI
If you made a custom profile for CLoD, you may have noticed that Freetrack will revert back to default IL-2-1946 profile when you start up the CloD. You can stop this from happening by going into the Freetrack.ini file and setting the following parameter:
[BinaryOptions] AutoLoadProfile=0 |

Glad to say freetrack works in CoD and while using w-7 64 bit. Probable not as good as TrackIR, but it works.

Got both but prefer FT, equally as good with a PS3 eyecam or Wimote but almost as good with a conventional webcam. More info on FT site.....

FT for me, just fine with a modded Logitech Fusion.
I remember ages ago when I was getting into IL-2 and finding mouse view really frustrating. I was thinking to myself I wish I could just look and the computer knew where! And then I kept seeing discussions about tir /ft and there was a moment of realisation - surely they don't mean... Awesome! I think we take it somewhat for granted tbh, makes such a massive difference to the game. Edit: oh, and thanks OP, that was bugging me. |

Post the make and model of your Webcam and your settings for 'Camera' + 'Stream' and the type of clip you are using/made.

@wannabetheace
I had trouble getting freetrack to work under win7 x64 too. The solution I found was to use a 640x480 exe someone had compiled and posted in the forums. You should find it easy enough was on the front page of threads last week. |
