First screen seems normal to me (i assume it's without AA). If you don't like how minimap looks like, the only thing you can do is turn AA off or try other versions of graphics drivers i guess.

So the picture I have with this(down below, the .jpg called 'This is it') is what the minimap is supposed to look like? Wow.......what are the blocky black areas supposed to be.......? Maybe I will just keep AA on because all I loose out on is water location(even though you can SEE it right on screen) and tree location. If anyone knows a fix for having AA on and making it look like the pic I first posted above, the one that is labeled 'With Anti Aliasing off'(you can see what it labeled when you open the pick by clicking on it and looking in the lower left hand side.) I will be checking this post periodically and would be most appreciated for any help.

Thank you Sneaksie for the reply I do appreciate your help. Unfortunately I am a bit picky when it comes to games. You can say it is kinda a hobby of mine, to take a game that has a small bug(like this one) or even the largest game-killer bug and find or make a fix. Although again, I do thank you for the help!

(if I do find/make a fix I will post what I did here for you guys.)
