*Navigate - keep track of where you are right from the start or, if lost, read from terrain features against the map. If still lost estimate roughly where you might be and head for a coastline and fly along it until you work out where you are or head for where a single major feature should be like a large river or city. If lost over water, you will have some idea of whether 'home' is N,S,E or W and head there until you find terrain to navigate by.
