thats rediculous. Despite the fact WOP misses the FMS DMS and overral "simulation" of il2 series. its still aircraift game, with a 3d world. its idiotic not to compare the both, speacially graphic.

And yes WOP is really overdone in soem stuff, un realistic on a bunch of other and has too much filters... but the stability of WOP graphics is sooo far superior than CLOD. forest look dense, citys have buildings all the line of sight and no POPing up.

I swear to Sauron, you WoP fans are just like Gollum when the ring first got hold of him. "Myy precioouussss.........."

If you are a simmer, you appreciate what simulates flight, combat and all kinds of physics and models best. You WoP dudes could probably watch a beautiful painting with a Spitfire on it and still call it a good sim.

Don't need to look at a painting! Cliffs of Dover Frame-Rate on Max settings is static enough to be a painting.....I could just use it as a Screen-Saver.... go on, you know my hook is baited

I know, they'd rather live in the dark than broaden the experience they have.

It seems if you like a Game/Sim, you can only install one on your hard-drive as it is Blasphemy to mention any others.

Anyway, this is with 16x AF and 6X AA, everything maxed out...what's not to like....it's fun! AND NO POP-UP!!!!!!

Gaijin are currently looking at sound updates.....2-years old and the developer is at least trying to please it's customers......and listening to feedback!

Cheers, MP

Of course there are no pop ups in WoP, Map size and view distance are by far too small to fill the video-mem!!!

Agree, COD is a serious sim, WOP is a damn nice, beautiful to see game. And I do love the filters, including that yellowish shade and the vignetting, reminds me of the ruined, hystorical footage I have seen

I was very disappointed though, I installed this latest update 1039, full of joy about the "new cameras" and these cameras do not work ingame, they're only dedicated to replays. Same for the slow-motion. Sad.

It's not a case of not wanting to broaden experience MP.

It's re-living the experience I don't want to do.

I lost interest in cartoons a few years ago. Watching your 190 vid I was almost expecting the B17 to bring out one of those oversized ACME horseshoe magnets out of the bomb bay and suck the 190 to its doom

Of course, at the end of the clip we'd find that the Roadrunner was flying the B17, and Wiley Coyote was in the 190

WOP and COD are two entirely different genres. There is no comparison between the two. One is a sim and one is a cartoon.

Blinkered, all drawn in by a bit of bling and unable to see the reality lol.

i have played WOP 2 hours in my life. didnt like for not having all the great stuff il2 has. Im far from gollum-WOP-fan.

the " WOP maps are so small that dont occupy enough VRram" is crap. building in il2 POPout in 5 km radius, wich is rediiculous. WOP may not have the 200 KM+ view of CLOD but at least in its all 50-60 KM range buildings are consistent and not popping.

Clod visuals are disapointing. I wouldnt have WOP ones over it, but there is a LOT 1c could learn from WOP
