This guy's gadgets are awesome - though one or two features don't work for me (could be that the GPU gadget requires rivatuner or something to display GPU core speed, for example) and can show temp graphs if you run coretemp too.

EVGA Precision will do the same job as MSI Afterburner, but I think the latter might have more features - I haven't used it for a while. Precision can show many graphs, I use it mainly for the fps graph, but it does overclocking the GPU too.

Here's the corner of my desktop, with GPUZ and CPUZ running as well:

e: I should point out that I've been changing the clocks/HT settings a bit since I entered my sig on 1c forums.

Gpu monitor shows my card to be running at over 90% most of the time, but strangely when watching tracks it can run as low as 30%, which I find odd, especially as performance doesn't seem to suffer. (?)

Well I guess in the track you got the user's input controls which is out of the equation, so there are no surprises.

Lol . You guys amaze me. You wonder why you are having problems running the game so you go and install all this software that runs in the background to check why your game is not running well lol. Out of all those gadgets on that link you would be better of to install the Top Process Monitor so you guys could see how much crap you have running. I have zero problems running the game with everything set in the graphics options as high as they will go. To get the ball rolling i am running Windows 7 x64 and have 24 Processes running when i am playing IL2 Cod.Tell us your amount

Asus Rampage III Formula
Intel Core i7-950

Well I don't play the game with all this monitoring but I do believe it is not a bad thing to check every now and then how much of the hardware is actually being used...

This software your mentioning though, does it help you get rid of all the things running in the background which you do not need?! I ll look into that

Just did a quick test in france free flight (109) and core "0" max's @ 48% (spikes, generally in low 40's high 30's), the rest of the cores are all being used but never seem to get over 30%. I currently have affinity mask disabled (per a beta performance thread) was running it at 14 but havent had a chance try affinity again and compare them yet.

I am a noob when it comes to all this, and how much of the hardware should actually being used while gaming... but shouldn't it be closer to 100%? instead of being close to zero?

I don't mean to insult the devs, I'm sure they'll sort it out eventually. But 40% is extremely low isn't it? (If it is that would be good, it would mean that when all problems are fixed my comp would run this game better )
