I think people are getting confused because they have not told us what type of anti-aliasing the game uses. Its clearly not FSAA / SSAA where the whole scene is rendered at a higher resolution and then scaled down. Its one of the other less-intensive methods.

in all the "aa isn´t working properly"-threads they all are saying that it doesn´t.....working properly.

The AA has some serious oddities. I thought it wasn't working at all at first, but after swapping to an ATi card (a 6970) I can now get it to work, but only if I use application settings and "edge detect" in the Cat 11.4 CCC. If I use application settings and "standard", it doesn't work properly and only applies AA to some edges but not others.

It is better than nothing but that AA looks pretty rubish tbh. Like 2x or something, most people use 4x-8x and on higher end machines 8x-16x if you can run 16 without lag (better to go for 8x though over say downgrading textures). On BFBC1I use 32x
