Followed directions

Uninstalled nvidia drivers via add/remove programs

It asked for restart, I hit cancel, then shut down.

Physically removed card from slot and replaced.

Started machine.

Hardware wizard pops up. Wants to install software for: PCI device

???

Should I just run the driver installer for the 270's I downloaded...?

Ignore the wizard, just close the window.

You should install the downloaded driver now.

Thx Buchon, for your help..

I followed directions but in game is a flickering mess..

Everything else runs fine...

Dunno.

Reinstall game?
Doesn't seem like a likely fix, tho..

Actually, I think I'll try reinstall. I had Tried the beta myself. Could be sum thing quirky I suppose.

The game in DX9 is just a mess.

The game runs fast and looks better in DX10 than in DX9, the shadows that you can see in the videos, and the graphic quality, is done under DX10.

You should put that card under DX10, but is only available in Windows 7, and Vista but avoid it

I suggest you upgrade to Windows 7 64-bits as soon is possible to unleash the power of that card.

As I stated earlier. I got a taste of the game last weekend with shadows off. It was wicked cool IMO.

I dont think that you need upgrade your system to install Windows 7.

Im running it just now with my dual core and 4 GB of RAM.

This game need DX10, I forced the game to use DX9 in my system, to see if runs fast but contrary as how should be it is slower

I guess the DX9 mode is not optimized.

You will gain FPS just upgrading to Windows 7, and it will looks better.

Watch this thread for example :
