Ok i start a COOP on my dedicated server and i join from my gaming rig, I then START the battle (from server) , choose my side and look on the map for airplanes...find one and JUST like joining a spwn point on a dedicated server I cant just click on the plane i have to move the mouse TO A POSITION AT ABOUT 5 oclock from the plane and 1 inch away (with map at %80-90 zoom) at which point I can click on it I then choose ENTER not FLY! at which point the plane is mine

When you start your COOP leave map icons ON!

have fun

Thank you very much Odd_Ball. I actually thought about the map Icons but the opposition planes were coming up on the map. I switched sides and got ALL planes on map but I could not locate a point where I could click on, adjacent of the planes, But now I have YOUR specific information. I will try tomorrow.
You can "Start battle" from the client? hmmm, I should look for that too.
You are very resourcefull. Good to have your around

sorry KDN but you cant start the dedicated server from the client unless you have the server set up to allow connection through the client, which i have not done yet.

If you are making a COOP with a ground start just make your planes spawn "parked" and "idle" and then you can zoom in %90 over the spawn point of the planes and you will see all of them sitting there...just move you mouse around them and you will see the name flash where there is a clickable area.

But can other players join you?

We're still confused.

Dogfight servers aren't a problem.

I can create a co-op mission in the Islands map which is used by the co-op that comes with the game but not the big Channel map.

I would like to RTFM if there was one!

im wondering (and cant check because im on eastern vacartion, far away from my gaming PC ) . if you are setting your planes on idle. Is the AI starting too after some ,and not all, planes are selected by humans ?

Klem my server is on a different machine than my gaming rig. I started the COOP from my server it showed up under the in game browser and then i clicked JOIN.
I jumped in at least 5 different planes
so the answer is yes other people can join
As for the channel map there should no problem but i will test to make sure.

if you spwn them :parked : the AI will move them if you "spawn: them "idle" they will never move.
when you make a COOP just make all the player aircraft in the first group and the AI in the second

I have found that you can do a co-op as long as you dont use the Channel map!
If you spawn park in hangers you can not see\click on these planes
If you use channel map only the host can see and click on the planes!
Now we sit and wait for it to be fixed!
