To early to say/vote however initial impression is that the frame rate may have dropped a bit it looks "nicer" and the stuttering isnt so bad also the input control delay seems better.
Also some advances made on the interfaces in MP its a bit better now.

Look at my specs

win7 home premium 64bit
X64-based PC
intel Core 2 Quad cpu Q8300 @ 2.50GHz(4CPU)
4 Gig RAM
DX 11
NVIDIA Geforce GTS 250 (1 Gig RAM)
Saitek AV8R joystick
TrackIRv5

Now before some Troll accuses me of having a "third world" system, let me point out its my choice not to have a cutting edge machine, I find it hard to justify spending two grand every eighteen months on what is essentially a gaming machine. I have what I have and I just have to play the hand im dealt.

I find the game playable, Even with the eyecandy turned down its pretty enough, and look at the maps theyre huge.and detailed.
Looking at some peoples specs and the complaints they make about performance I have to wonder at what sort of resolutions/detail/frame rates do they expect this game to run at ?
Your eye sees at about 27fps I believe, If you run at a super high resolution things will appear to stutter as your eye tries to pick out detail. My advice would be to set your setting to get about 30-40fps turn your resolution down a bit then turn the detail up as much as your comfortable with, most combats dont take place at low level over London so gemerally you should get a reasonable game experience.
It seems to me that ppl with NVidia cards are having less issues,Its only a guess judging by posts on this forum.
Getting back to the patch now I think the most important game fix needed is the Mix/Altitude problem. If and when this is fixed I feel the game will be up to where we could have expected it to be on initial release.

I too had lost fps, until I switched to Ambisonc sound and gained an extra 25fps, seems there is something new going on with the other sound engines causing huge slowdowns

More stuttering when approaching bomber formation, but less when flying over citys.

I can confirm that my frames improved by doing this. I'll post back after I run some benchmarks.

Less FPS and the Stutter a back a little and freezes are back in a big way. Fullscreen doesnt work as I keep shooting back to desktop in between all loading screens.

I have tested the beta patch some more.

Land: FPS basically the same.

Water: Reduced by ~5FPS

However when I fly into a bomber formation my FPS drops from ~30 to ~17, this is a problem that the first patch removed

Works Ok for me.

Can now set AA and V Sync.
(although AA is not all that good although it appears to work.)

The V Sync limits the FR's, and obviously working AA does also so frames are lower but its prettier and does not tear.

Goes into full 3d mode (and TIR only starts working ) in between the menu's, the menu's are not in this full 3d which is presumably how it should be ?

Seeing some lovely cloud shadows on the sea with this beta.

Also seeing some strange texture corruptions on the sea also in a couple of places around Calais primarily. ( this has been posted about elsewhere.)

Much good , some not quite there yet. (not going to vote, 'performance' at this stage is pretty hard to quantify. AA and V sync are vital additions. As is FFB for some)

i5 2500k
ATI HD6850
Win7
