Whenever I clk "edit view" the track wont play, unclick it and it plays fine.

I get something like that sometimes. The track will load with 'Edit View' selected, but it'll just be some pixelated landscape type view. I have to press F1 or F2 to start viewing my plane as normal. Perhaps try that.
