Someone said he can't break his undercarriage when rough landing, this is what did happen me today:

I've read somewhere they are in fact meant to represent shrapnel, and I agree they look way overdone IMO, even on a small scale.

324 spawned at the start.

Each Squadron consisted of three Flights of three planes (=9 planes). There were six such Squadrons per group (=54 planes). And there were six such groups (=324 planes).

Only one group of 54 planes continued on into London, minus however many losses they had along the way.

There were three-hundred '30-inch 20 CWT QF Mk.1 Stand-Alone B' artillery lined up along their flight path to greet them.

Just so there's no confusion, this was not playable. I slowed the game down to it's slowest running speed, put the plane under AI control, and recorded using FRAPS at 16fps, then sped it up again in editing. I just wanted to see what it would look like on maximum settings and with a huge amount of objects on screen. I think I could cram more in and would like to set up a more realistic scenario, but it would take a lot of effort.

Nice video. I love the way the gear just collapsed in a seemingly realistic way, for what appears to be a realistic reason, without just suddenly breaking off. It gives a good impression of components being modelled to fail properly under stress.

At the risk of becoming a spammer, here's a quick video taken while playing around with the clouds in the full mission builder. Was trying to arrange something to look like an overcast sky, and flying under some low level clouds was as close as I got.

Very well done video! You've shown off a lot of features of ClOD. Very decent editing of your video as well; in terms of movie-making, I'd not use the fancy scene transition effects, but that is only if you go on to make a full up Video/Movie, rather than a demo of ClOD.

If you do have an interest in making a "Movie", think about developing a story/screenplay. If you do that, I think you'll be on the right track for 'success' as a Cliffs of Dover film-maker! ...and I hope you will consider becoming one.

It is not too early in the ClOD era for those of us at the Flight Sim Movies website to begin looking for a new crop of movie-makers and their Movies, using ClOD to enthrall the community with marvelous "Tales of the Battle of Britain" using ClOD. Remember, the golden rule is to create a "story" with a beginning, middle, and end...and get the viewer to emotionally connect with your main character(s).

Again, thanks for showing your vid in this thread!

Great video. Amongst all the negative comments, this revived a lot of my excitement. Can't wait to fly.

Another fps test, with the zone usually used to do so... the center of London. The more risky maneuvers able to do, that is because fps were more stable

Computer specs and detailed graphic settings are on the description of the video...

Only 1.00.13954 Official patch, NOSSAO and "Aero Off" used. Lowtex does not improve nothing and Nomipmap is horrible by a few fps more... at least, for me

High increase of fps, so now I will dedicate to fly

Thanks Luthier and 1C team for the patch and thanks to the community for the tweaks and mods! This great simulator is definitely not a game!
