A little bit smoother for me, but FPS increase only marginal. Over medium sized city up from 12-14 to perhaps 16-18. Maybe better after some flying over the same spot.
'Feels' smoother low over land, even with low fps. Perhaps even a little bit better if > 600-800 m. But also first time Launcher.Exe error for me So i must say my expectation was higher, but it is definitely better than before, not worse ... 2600K 8GB DDR3 6950 2GB Win7 64 |

Stuttering seems significantly reduced for me.

No significant performance gain and still massive stuttering on my core I5 @4GHz, GTX 470, 8GB RAM, Win7 64 bit system
Average FPS at 1920x1080 with high settings (building detail and forest set to medium) over land in the low 20s, with massive stuttering especially near cities. London unplayable. |

* fps in training mission (in the Camel(?)) was significantly better - from 30ish to 50ish.
* fps in spitI starting on ground - very little difference. Same in air. Maybe +3fps. Dunno if the cockpit itself is so fps-heavy that the gain because of terrain improvement will only be slight... * turning off mirror worked one time. The next time it gave me a simplified mirror...(?) * channel intercept: fps still bad. Unplayable! 15ish fps after awhile. * Very few trees = trees off. ie still no trees when there should be very few... So....first the improvement seemed good. But after testing a bit more I am a bit disappointed... Last edited by Buzzer; 04-07-2011 at 12:49 PM. |

Question: should tracks taken pre-patch have performance change post-patch? If so (and I don't see why not) then there is zero FPS change on my rig on a free flight over Dover. See attached for a reasonably thorough comparison of FPS. Of course, if pre-patch track FPS won't change post-patch then I guess I wasted my time!

I urge everyone after a flight, to check what the res is in the options. I thought it was spiffing until I realized CoD actually changed my res from 1920x1200 to 1280x1024...
Once I finally got it running as it did before, there is no perceptable improvement. Interesting reading that others with a very similar system to mine report the same. I7, 12Gb, HD5970. Gfx card is working at full capacity, only one GPU though, of course. |

Well for me things are a bit better, once the textures and objects are loaded the stutters were almost gone.Being on the ground was not a slideshow anymore.I did a succesful landing on a Hurricane and while being on the ground it was a pleasure to look outside.

Hi Ilya!
Unplayable now. My System: i7 980 Extreme (6x3,33 GHZ) ASUS REVOLUTION MoBo, 12 GB Kingston DD3 fastest RAM, 2x GF 295 GTX Dual Grafic Cards (Quad System). Sound X-Fi Soundblaster. Operating System: Win7/64 HE all drivers on newest date. Following Bugs: If i use less than 1920x1200 Resolution, i have the Game in the Left Side of Monitor and about 1/3 unused Monitor on the Rigth. Performance: Before Beta Patch i had about 20-38 FPS over Land, less enough for such system. Now i have between 5 and 18 FPS. Also my settings were overwritten... Why? ![]() ![]() It seems that more bug is increast than decreast... i go on version before patch, because with that framerate no test is possible.
