In time we should start seeing much larger formations. Personally it won't bother me that much as I can't fly or shoot down 600 bombers, and once your in the furball you will not notice that their are 500 aircraft missing. After the furball you will find yourself alone like most fighter pilots found in their experience.

I would say 6 years is already quite some dedication on their part.

Yes 6 years is dedicated. But remember this is there job not hobby. I doubt many were working for free. I just want it playable in multiplayer I could care less about single player. I like the team work of humans versus humans instead of scripted AI missions. I just have a mid spec machine phenom X3 2.5ghz , 2gb ram probably upgrade to 4 soon, and a GTS 250 which plays most everything on high settings at lower resoulutions (1024x768 still have 19 crt)

I loled at the game taking longer time to develop than the actual war itself.

Developing this sim already took longer than the bleemin' WWII itself!
WW2 had a significantly bigger budget and staff.

Video request:

1 squadron bombers + 1 squadron escort + 1 squadron attacking = 36 aircraft
